Accessibility

The visitor information centre, including the event space and the library, is barrier-free (ground floor, disabled toilet). Access to the former prison area is only possible to a limited extent for wheelchair users. We regret that, owing to building conservation requirements, it is not possible to provide barrier-free access to the historic prison building in which the permanent exhibition is displayed. Please ask our staff in the visitor information centre if you require assistance or seek further information.

The bronze model of the secret service base "Military Town No. 7" in the inner courtyard of the memorial is a tactile model for visually impaired and blind visitors. It contains labels in Braille.
